May 8, 2015 at 12:56 PM
Hi,

I'm unable to connect to a CRM 2015 OnPremise enviroment.

I've tried to lock into the error log, but there was none...

Anything I can do?

Hi John,

thank you for your reply!

I've downloaded the actual Version 3.0 and I've tried to reproduce the error but - I wasn't able to do this... :-)
So it seems to work fine!

Thank you!!

Hi John,

I have just downloaded the latest version (3.2) and I also cannot set it up properly to be able to log in.
Similarly to Jobengaru - I don't get any option to see in the log file what's going on.
Maybe it would be a good idea to post a sample login page in documentation?
I would like to connect in "on-premises" mode.

Thanks,
Bartek

Dear Bartek,

Can you please send me some screenshot on what happens when you try to connect?

Hi John,

I have attached screens from entire process.
First - the setup window. Maybe I am missing something?
Then I click Login and that line of dots is passing through the form for about 2 secs.
Then I get warning and possibility to check the log file.
When I click it - it says there is no file and I can create one.
Yes or No - gives the same - just an empty file opened in Notepad.

I hope that helps :)

Thanks I advanced!
Bartek

Hi Bartek,

May I know where you have attached the screenshots?

If you don't mind we can have a screensharing session to dig into this, as I don't feel this is an issue with the code. Let me know.

Hi John,

I have attached 4 png files as attachments and I can see them attached in the previous email.
Maybe they have been removed as spam?

With the screen sharing might be the problem. We are not allowed to share screen with 3rd parties (sorry for expression) without a valid contract as we have very strict confidentiality rules in place.
But I will talk with my boss what can we do about it.

Cheers,
Bartek

Hi Bartek,

I understand your situation. No problem. :)

But since I am using the Connector control from SDK, I do not have any control over that, and I don't know why its not generating the log file. However, one reason for this issue I can think of is, missing IdentityModel dll. Have you installed window identity foundation?

If not, could you please download it from the below URL?

Windows Identity Foundation

John.
